About the research group
INFAR — Information Engineering for Andaman Region
INFAR is a research group in the College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, Thailand, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Kliangsuwan. The group brings together faculty members and graduate students of the College of Computing around applied research in artificial intelligence and information engineering.
Our work spans machine learning and computer vision, image processing, network security and malware detection, algorithms for spatial data analysis, and mathematical modelling — with a particular interest in applying these methods to problems of the Andaman region.
